Tracy Sherouse, Assistant Controller

Ms. Sherouse joined Innisfree Hotels in 2005 as an Account Manager and was promoted to Assistant Controller in September 2012. She has over 16 years in accounting and finance. While at Innisfree, she has customized and implemented a new hotel accounting system software and has been instrumental in migrating all of Innisfree’s owned and managed companies to the new system. 

She is responsible for training corporate and hotel accounting staff in accounting procedures. She directly assists the CFO and Controller in finalizing the financials for 43 companies, including daily and monthly cash flows, payroll budgets, tax filings, and state & county tax audits. 

In 2003, Ms. Sherouse graduated with honors from the University of West Florida with a BSBA in Management Information Systems with special emphasis in Economics and Human Resource Management.  While an undergrad, her research team was published in the James Madison Institute on Florida’s Sovereign Land Claims. She is currently working on her MBA.

Before settling in Florida, Ms. Sherouse proudly served over five years in the US Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. She is Innisfree’s resident adventurist! When not strapped to her computer, she enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding, rock climbing, hiking, fishing and hunting with her husband.
