General Manager of Wingate by Wyndham in Chesapeake Virginia

Ms. Jones started her hospitality career in 1994 while studying for a degree in the medical field. She immediately realized that she wanted to change directions and pursue a career in hotel management.

She learned the industry from the ground up working night audit at an upscale Days Inn managed by Remington Hotels in Mobile, Alabama.  She was quickly promoted to Front Office Manager.

In 1997, Ms. Jones moved to Pensacola and soon after joined the team at Innisfree Hotels.  She started as a desk clerk at a Days Inn in Orange Beach, Alabama.  By January 2004 a series of promotions had landed her in a General Manager position at a Best Western in Perdido Key, Florida.

The hotel was destroyed by hurricane Ivan and so Ms. Jones joined the team at the Hilton Garden Inn, On the Beach in Orange Beach, Alabama.

When Innisfree opened a full-service Hilton on Pensacola Beach she jumped at the chance to become their Director of Finance; a position she held for almost six years.

In the spring of 2012, she accepted a General Manager’s position at the Wingate by Wyndham.
