General Manager, Hampton Inn Gulf Front Hotel, Pensacola Beach

Sandra Fontenot joined Innisfree Hotels in 2006, bringing with her more then two decades of hospitality industry experience.  Her specialty is cost control at mid-level limited service hotels.

Ms. Fontenot launched her hospitality career in 1986 at the Mark 2 Beach Resort in Panama City, Florida while attending Gulf Coast Community College.  Upon graduation she accepted a job at the Hampton Inn in Dalton, Georgia as a Front Desk Supervisor and was quickly promoted to General Manager.  While in Dalton, she also oversaw the opening of a Country Inn and Suites which won a Property of the Year award in 1999.

During her tenure the Hampton Inn has won numerous awards including:

• 2009 The Highest Increase in ADR for Innisfree Hotels
• 2007 Wall of Fame in recognition of their Improvement in Product, Service, and Quality Performance
• 2008 Wall of  Fame in recognition of their Improvement in Product, Service, and Quality Performance
• 2009 First Quarter (Dec – Feb) in recognition of their Improvement in Product, Service, and Quality Performance
• 2009 Second Quarter (May YTD)  in recognition of their Improvement in Product, Service, and Quality Performance
• 2010 Third Quarter (August YTD) in recognition of their Improvement in Product, Service, and Quality Performance
• 2008 Circle of Excellence Awarded to the Top 10% of Hampton Inn Hotels for their commitment to Product and Service Excellence.

Ms. Fontenot has served as Vice President and President on the Dalton Hospitality Association Board and on the Authority Board of the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center.
