General Manager, Hilton Garden Inn, On the Beach in Orange Beach

Gyrod Harris’ personal motto is “In order to succeed, your desire for success must be greater then your fear of failure.” -Bill Crosby.   He joined the Innisfree team in July of 2011 when he accepted a position as General Manager at the Hilton Garden Inn, On the Beach in Orange Beach, Alabama. 

Mr. Harris has a decade of experience working with the Hilton and Hampton brands.  He started his career as a Assistant General Manager of a Homewood Suites and then became a General Manager of a Hampton hotel in Tallahassee Florida.  He has special expertise in the areas of cost control and guest relations. 

He left the Hampton to gain Food and Beverage experience by as the General Manager of Chilli’s restaurant franchise.  While at Chilli’s be became a certified corporate food trainer.

Mr. Harris graduated from UNC-Greensboro in 2003 with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Finance.  He received his Certified Hotel Administrator certification in 2008.
