General Manager, America’s Best Value Inn, Dothon Alabama

Gene Shaffer was appointed as General Manager at America’s Best Value Inn & Suites in 2005.  He has over two decades of hospitality industry experience.

Mr. Shaffer handles both the day to day operations at the hotel as well as outside sales for this property.  Under his direction the hotel received the brand’s Best of the Best Marketing award in 2008 and 2009.  In 2010 the hotel was was recognized for excellence in a  Quality Assurance Inspection.

Mr. Shaffer is a board member of Dothan Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.  Prior to joining Innisfree he was the Administrative Assistant at Host Lodging Corporation which owned and operated the Days Inn in Dothan, Alabama and the Green House Inn and Lodge in Daleville, Alabama.
